A Selection From My Not Even Remotely Comprehensive List Of Things I Know To Be True Especially While Alone At 12:35AM On A Tuesday.

Number One - Not wearing pants is a million times better than wearing pants.

Number Three - I am so much cooler than I think I am, and not nearly as cool as people find me to be.

Number Four - Instagram is a plague I must rid myself of.

Number Six - I've had such a great week and I want to tell you all about it.

Number Eight - Throwing up is terrifying and I don't know how people handle it so cavalierly.

Number Nine - You make me feel like I am the most interesting person in the world.

Number Ten - And maybe that's just who you are but I think you're turning me into someone I've always wanted to be.

Number Eleven - Cavalierly is a word.

Number Twelve - I'd spend 14 dollars on 7 dollar coffee if it meant I could give it to you.

Number Thirteen - This poem, if you can call it that, will not be nearly as interesting to other people as it is to me.

Number Fourteen - And that's okay.

Number Fifteen - I stole Number Twelve from a TikTok.

Number Sixteen - I sincerely hope this isn't seen by anyone other than me but something tells me it will.

Number Seventeen - All things want to be seen.

Number Eighteen - I think big sweaters are the perfect way to look like you put in some effort and also be comfortable, but sometimes I wonder if people forget that I am hot under all those knits.

Number Nineteen - Sometimes I think you see me more than anyone else.

Number Twenty - There are few things I love more than a sunset over a lake. Or through some trees. Or a grassy meadow.

Number Twenty-Two - The sun is proof that I can love something fiercely and watch it leave.

Number Twenty-Four - There is a nest of baby birds on my window AC unit and I haven't turned on the air conditioning all month in case it scares away the mama bird.

Number Twenty-Five - My apartment has been very warm for the past month. See: Number One.

Number Twenty-Six - If God exists, I think he deserves a break. Burnout happens to the best of us.

Number Twenty-Eight - If God exists, I would say he made you for me, and me for you.

Number Thirty - If God exists, he planted Lilies of the Valley in my chest when he made me.

Number Thirty-Two - If God exists, he planted them in yours too.
